In old hair transplant procedures, multiple rows of plugs created a low, broad hairline that forced the patient to wear a hairpiece for years. Four sessions of graft excisions and re-implantation were needed to completely remove and re-distribute the abnormal plugs in patient VRI. Note that there is little trace of the excised grafts. No additional hair was transplanted.
