Patient QMB

In patient QMB’s repair, grafts are harvested from an area of extensive scarring (from the old open donor hair transplant technique) using a single strip that is sutured closed. Note how the area of scarring is dramatically reduced. The tissue removed will be placed under a dissecting microscope so that all of the hair can then be transplanted to the top of the scalp as individual follicular units.
