Patient VSQ had multiple hair transplant procedures that left him with a frontal rim of plugs and marked central baldness that was difficult to camouflage, even with a comb-over. In addition, he had scarring at his frontal hairline and a substantially depleted donor supply. Four repair procedures were performed to remove the large grafts and redistribute them as individual follicular units in the front and mid-part of his scalp. In the fifth procedure, we transplanted an additional 1,184 follicular units from the donor area into the front and mid-portion of his scalp.
