We have the most highly trained medical team in hair transplantation. Many members of our staff have been with Dr. Bernstein since he pioneered the ground-breaking Follicular Unit Transplant (FUT) procedure in 1995, and have continued to develop their skills as he pioneered Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) in 2002 and Robotic FUE in 2011. As a result, our clinical staff has unique and extraordinary expertise in stereo-microscopic dissection, graft handling, follicular unit extraction, graft placement, and robotic-assisted surgery. New members of the clinical staff must complete a rigorous twelve-month training period under the personal tutelage of Dr. Bernstein. Each member’s technical skills and professionalism are continually monitored and evaluated.
Every member of our medical staff is a dedicated, full-time employee with technical expertise in performing hair transplant procedures and who show compassion for our patients – before, during, and after surgery. We do not ever hire per-diem or temporary staff. We work together as a long-term, stable team, utilizing each individual’s strengths to improve care for the patient.
During surgery, technicians who perform exacting and demanding tasks are rotated so that each staffer involved remains focused and alert. This allows us to do larger hair restoration procedures and ensures that we are providing you with the highest quality of work possible in every surgical situation.
Our staff works diligently and consistently to ensure that your experience at Bernstein Medical is pleasant. We are aware that many patients are apprehensive of having any type of surgery and so we take every opportunity to make sure that you are comfortable and relaxed throughout your procedure.
You will be provided with detailed pre- and post-op instructions, both verbally and in writing, so you will know exactly what to expect throughout every step of the process. Whether your treatment regime includes medication or surgical procedures (or both), we schedule short- and long-term follow-up visits to assess your progress.
