The Guide to Hair Restoration is based on the original text “The Patient’s Guide to Hair Restoration” by Rassman and Bernstein. The new book has the same easy-to
-understand writing that explains the causes of hair loss, how it is diagnosed and how baldness is best treated using medications and hair replacement surgery. The writing incorporates the many advances in both the medical and surgical management of hair loss that have occurred since the last publication.
The current guide is in digital format so that it can be regularly updated with new information. The title, “The Patient’s Guide to Hair Restoration,” has been changed to The Guide to Hair Restoration, to reflect the fact that readers of the text can find the information useful without actually becoming hair restoration patients.
The Guide to Hair Restoration complements the information about hair transplant surgery and hair loss on our website.
