Patient AKL is a Norwood Class 5A with straight, brown hair and a donor density of 1.9 hairs/mm2. He had one hair transplant to the frontal area consisting of 1,963 follicular unit grafts and a second session of an additional 1,286 grafts one year later for a total of 3,249 grafts. Pictures were taken before and then one year after the hair restoration (a photo after the second hair transplant session was added to the Top View section below).
