Patient KSC had a 2cm scar at her left frontal hairline as result of trauma many years ago. Because the scar was slightly firm, it was injected with triamcinolone acetonide to soften it and enable growth of the transplanted grafts. Results photos of the initial scar repair were taken 16 months after the placement of 187 follicular unit grafts directly into the scar. A second session of a similar number of grafts was repeated 15 months later.
