Platelet rich plasma (PRP) contains concentrated natural growth factors derived from your own blood that stimulates hair follicle growth. Recent studies suggest that PRP may be an effective treatment for male and female pattern hair loss. The treatments are administered by a Bernstein Medical physician and take 30 to 45 minutes.

New Technique: Robotic FUE Without Shaving Entire Donor Area
A limitation of FUE procedures is the short-term cosmetic problem that arises in some patients due to the need to clip the entire donor area in advance of harvesting.
The new “long-hair” robotic technique avoids this problem by harvesting follicles from a broad band of clipped hair. After the procedure, longer hair is combed down to camouflage the harvested area. This technique enables the physician to obtain relatively large amounts of donor hair without shaving the patient’s entire scalp.
