New Before & After Photo Gallery Features Women

Since the founding of Bernstein Medical – Center for Hair Restoration in 2005, we have strived to improve the diagnostic and therapeutic treatments available for women suffering from hair loss. Advances have been made in donor closures, hairline design, and ability to densely pack grafts in areas of existing, but thinning, hair. New high resolution densitometry gives us improved ability to determine which women are the best candidates for a hair transplant procedure.

Now, an increasing number of women are considering surgical hair restoration because of the excellent results achieved by these state-of-the-art techniques. To illustrate the results that can be achieved with the newest procedures at Bernstein Medical, we have created the Women’s Hair Transplant Gallery showing before and after photos of our female hair restoration patients.

Upcoming Article on the Genetics of Patterned Hair Loss in Men and Women

In an upcoming article in the Journal of Drugs in Dermatology, titled “Update on the Pathogenesis, Genetics, and Medical Treatment of Patterned Hair loss,” Dr. Eric Schweiger, Female Hair Specialist at Bernstein Medical – Center for Hair Restoration, publishes a review article on patterned hair loss. Dr. Schweiger discusses new discoveries in the genetics behind patterned hair loss in both men and women and the current treatments for this condition.
