I had a hair transplant procedure done about a month and a half ago. Today I went in for a full body massage. I made a mistake of not telling the masseuse for her not to massage the scalp and I actually dozed off during the session. I did feel a tugging sensation as well as some moderately heavy pressure on the scalp. When I woke up, I had 5 red spots (each spot was the size of a tiny bug bite) on some of the areas that were transplanted with the grafts. There was minimal bleeding on each spot. I was wondering if there was any damage to the grafts done to those areas. I'm really worried about those areas now. <strong><em>Dr. Bernstein:</em></strong> After 10 days the transplanted hair is permanent, so at 1 ½ months there is no chance that any grafts would be lost.
