Complications of a poorly planned scalp reduction in patient SQK produced a wide mid-line scar and a “Dog Ear” puckering of the scalp. The defect was corrected with an excisional repair.

Planned Exision
Each “dog-ear” was removed with an elliptical excision and the hair that was obtained from the excised tissue was dissected into individual follicular units under a stereo-microscope and then placed into the midline scar.
