Patient QLA is a Norwood Class 6 with gray/blond hair a low donor density (1.7 hairs/mm2). He had two hair transplant procedures of 1,861, and 1,294 spaced a year apart. This a good example of the cosmetic improvement an older person can get with light coverage if the hair quality is good – even in the face of low density.

Detail of Hairline Restoration
In spite of his low donor density, and relatively small number of grafts transplanted in the first session, QLA looked great after the one hair transplantation procedure, but he required some layering (accomplished with left to right grooming) to have adequate fullness. After the second hair restoration session, this was no longer necessary.
