Comprehensive Diagnostic Evaluations for Diffuse Hair Loss
The doctor performs diagnostic evaluations for patients with diffuse hair loss (generalized thinning), a condition more commonly seen in women.  This in-depth diagnostic evaluation will include a detailed history, microscopic hair analysis, telegen/anagen ratios, densitometry for miniaturization, and lab tests and/or a biopsy when appropriate.

The fee for this evaluation is $275.  If a biopsy is necessary, there will be an additional charge.  Payment is expected at the time of the visit. You will receive a separate bill for lab tests that will be sent to you directly from the lab.  We do not accept medical insurance; however, we will provide you with a bill that you can submit to your insurance carrier.
