Eric S. Schweiger, M.D.

Dr. Schweiger is Clinical Instructor of Dermatology at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York where he teaches general dermatology and dermatologic surgery. He is an associate at the Bernstein Medical – Center for Hair Restoration.  His expertise is in the specific challenges related to the diagnostic evaluation and treatment of hair loss in women.

Dr. Schweiger has served as the primary investigator in clinical research studies involving lasers and light based treatment. He has authored numerous articles in peer-reviewed medical journals and is co-authoring a book on hair loss in men and women geared for the lay person.

Dr. Schweiger received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and his doctor of medicine from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. He completed his internship in internal medicine at NYU Medical Center and his dermatology residency at the University of Kansas.
